EV Charging Point Installation

CERTIFIED INSTALLERS

Here at CCTV South we specialise in the installation and maintenance of domestic and commercial EV Chargers in Hampshire and the surrounding areas. We are an approved supplier and installer of Rolec EV Chargers - this means we are able to provide a design and installation service to suit any application or location.

We are certified to carry out the installation (City and Guilds 2919) and are electricians by trade to the latest wiring regulations BS7671 18th Edition.

EV Charging

We can assist with the following modes:

  • Mode 1 – Simple charging cable

  • Mode 2 – Charging with in-cable control box/RCD

  • Mode 3 – Dedicated socket-outlet

  • Mode 4 – Charging equipment DC – very powerful

GOVERNMENT APPROVED

We are one of just a few government OLEV (Office For Low Emission Vehicles) approved installers in the local area including Southampton, Chandlers Ford, Winchester and Romsey. This means that we are able to install Modes 1-4 EV Chargers under schemes such as the Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme, Workplace Charge Point Scheme and the On-Street Residential Charge Point Scheme.

Are you eligible for the OLEV EV grant scheme?

There is a grant funding available through the OLEV workplace charging scheme (WCS) of up to £10,000 (£500 per charging socket) to help businesses purchase and install EV charging points.

We at CCTV South will take care of the claim on your behalf.

Eligibilty Checklist:

  • You have dedicated off-street parking
  • Your plug-in vehicle was purchased after April 2015
  • You have not already claimed the grant for your vehicle
  • By claiming the grant, you are not exceeding the limit of two OLEV funded charge points per household
