THE DESIGN
Some of our customers have a good idea of what they require from a CCTV system. Our job is to discuss and advise you on the correct products and size of system you need. Based on your requirements we will give you a personal overview of the best possible equipment to fulfill your criteria.
The first step is designing your CCTV camera system - we will carry out a site survey of your home or business premises and explore the best location for each camera, taking into account cable routing and available visibility. Cabling would take the most practicable route possible, utilising loft spaces or above-suspended ceilings. After we have identified and surveyed the area of interest and visibility, we can establish the best possible camera positions. This would provide maximum coverage with the minimal quantity of cameras, both aspects resulting in reduced costs to our customers.
The design of the CCTV system is simple. We provide high-resolution cameras in the designated areas which monitor and record continuously to the hard drive, DVR (digital video recorder) or NVR (network video recorder) for a period of 31 days (a requirement of the Data Protection Act 1998). All images, live or recorded, can be viewed via a local monitor or remotely using a smart phone, tablet or PC.
THE HARDWARE
We specify high-resolution cameras with built-in infrared (IR) capability, allowing clear imagery - even at night. Various types of CCTV cameras are available ranging from domes, bullets to PTZ and IP. All have modern aesthetics and certain characteristics making each suitable for different types of installation.
All of the digital recorder models we specify are specially selected for reliability and ease of use.
When we have completed the installation and commissioning of the system, we take time to train all our customers on how to use the system and explain the different functions available.
To remotely access information of live and recorded images, the CCTV system can be connected to your broadband network. Once set up, you will be able to view a live feed or access recorded footage and images remotely via a smart phone, tablet, laptop or PC.
Once the broadband connection is established, the system can be set up so email alerts are sent to a mobile device, notifying the user of any intruder activity at the premises.
All our CCTV systems come with the peace of mind of a 2 year comprehensive warranty agreement including all parts and labour. This can be extended after year two.
